Wetland Nature Walks

Join Beavers Northwest for a beaver-themed nature walk! This is a great opportunity to see the impacts that beavers have on ecosystems, including salmon habitat and water quality. We will also observe the plants and wildlife that thrive in beaver-modified systems and discuss beaver coexistence in human-modified areas.

The King County Flood Control District brings a comprehensive approach to flood management. Thanks to their support, our walks focus on the connections of wetland ecology and beavers with water quality and storage, salmon habitat, and recovery efforts.

Nature walks at Magnuson Park are held in partnership with the Magnuson Children's Garden and their education team.

Beavers Northwest is partnering with Seattle Parks & Recreation for nature walks at Carkeek Park.
