If you are interested in learning about the benefits of beavers, including identifying the many species they create habitat for, then please join us for our wetland nature walk.
Join us for an evening walk and explore how beavers benefit water quality and salmon recovery efforts. Plus, learn about other plants and wildlife found in beaver modified ecosystems!
Walks are about 1.5 hours long and totally FREE!
We hope to see you out there!
Nature walks are funded in part by the King County Wastewater Treatment Division WaterWorks Program, and also held in partnership with Magnuson Children's Garden and Seattle Audubon Society.
The King County Flood Control District brings a comprehensive approach to flood management. Thanks to their support, our walks focus on the connections of wetland ecology and beavers with salmon habitat and recovery efforts.
